The Venerable Pope Pius XII was one of the last great Pontiffs of The Holy Roman Catholic Church. His successors have failed to live up to his saintliness and holiness, and yet he hasn't even been declared a Blessed by the Church.

I urge the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI and the appropriate authorities in the Roman Curia to advance the cause for sainthood for Venerable Pius XII.

Papal High Mass

The Papal High Mass of Pope Pius XII pictured here in the Vatican Basilica of St. Peter. This Mass was taken away from us with the reforms of Pope Paul VI. I pray that in my lifetime, we will be blessed to see this again.

The New Papal High Mass does not do this justice. It's an attempt to replace this. It hasn't sufficiently taken the place of this great traditional rite of the Roman Liturgy.
